Oct 19, 2006 · Re: Raid Support in Vista I have a Precision 670 and have been able to use the XP drivers for the Host RAID Adapter. You need to provide the disk (CD\Floppy\USB drive) with the files on it when you choose the partition that you want Vista installed on. I believe this only works IF you have a SATA or IDE drive as your current first boot drive.

Mar 26, 2009 · The software RAID feature of both RAID 0 and RAID 1 are only supported in the Server operating system and you are not allowed to create RAID in Windows Vista OS. For the client computer, we recommend our customer to purchase the RAID controller card to build the hardware RAID. Thanks for your time and understanding!
