Wondering if there's any update on the oft-asked status of DirectX 11 support in Fusion 11? ArcGIS Pro 2.3 now lists DirectX 11 as a minimum requirement (2.2 did not), and it runs like molasses on my early 2013 15" MacBook Pro Retina w/2.8Ghz i7 & 16gb.

Jan 09, 2014 · VMware ESX(i) is primarly thought for running servers, so video acceleration is no need. Perhaps you should look into VMware Workstation? Or, if you are into providing virtual desktops, you should have a look into VMware View.

Feb 22, 2017 · All I read on VMWare Homepage it says WS 12 Pro can use DirectX 10, not 10.1. It would have saved me a long time trying and searching for clues. Compare VMware Workstation 11 to VMware Workstation 9 and 10 and VMware Player Pro VMware United Kingdom Is there another older VMWare Workstation version capable of 3D, with DirectX 10 (not 10.1) ?
