I did verify I was able to run 3d support in vmware player so I cant imagine this doesn't work in the ESXi version.

So the free ubuntu LTS and other debian based Linux distributions have 3D guest support and RHEL (and clones) not? I thought with the RHEL advantages the VMware-tools for those OS would contain a modified Xorg driver/modul to adjust for that.
