Jan 23, 2018 · I set up a vSphere 6.5 at home (lab environment using all physical devices). If I remote into one of the VM's from outside my network, I notice all kinds of lag/latency. The CPU, memory & network traffic is barely touched. I wonder if the graphic card has something to do with it. The graphics is not a very high end card.

The hardware your virtual machine sees is virtual, not actual hardware.
