Jul 05, 2010 · I'm thinking perhaps Ubuntu is not picking up pae support by the cpu, or that my cpu does not support pae and I've misunderstood the spec sheet. I don't understand why Player and Workstation require PAE support considering that my VM is configured to use 640 MB of RAM and my system does not have more than 1.5 GB of RAM.

Aug 24, 2015 · If I wanted to pay for VMWare Workstation, I would likely get the better features as compared to VirtualBox. If VirtualBox 5.0 has one advantage, it can encrypt a VM while VMWare Player cannot. I don’t see in VMWare Player that it can support multiple network cards, while VirtualBox can.
