Aug 29, 2017 · ok i have been hoping Vmware/WSX would finally Grow up and become a Big serious solution.. and I was hoping that it would support QinQ what is QinQ? 802.1ad , read about it here, IEEE 802.1ad - Wikipedia yes we can use 4095 and pass all info to the OS and let the OS handle it but we always see systems crashing in our environment when trying to use in a real production environment.

Apparently, QinQ support isn't even available in the Nexus 5000 series but it looks like it is in the Nexus 7000 series. I would confirm this with VMware and Cisco's support before making any design decisions but it seems like this is not a possible configuration.
