I have a home lab that I have setup using the "VMware vSphere 5 Essentials Kit" that I had purchased from the VMware Online Store.. It was a pretty fun project as it let me get more familiar with the technologies I use at work without the same repercussions for mistakes.

Is it correct to state that this is completely outside the VMware support domain (i.e. VMware Production support, VMware Gold support etc) and thus, no support is available directly from VMware?
