Jul 28, 2015 · Hi, Taking a look at the VMware Product Interoperability Matrix for vCenter 5.5 and Oracle 10g, it doesn't show as supported.. It does show some other versions 11g, to be supported but gives warning of database corruption. I don't have much experience with OracleDB for vCenter but I would be careful from straying outside of the support matrix.

Apr 16, 2008 · I've deployed VMware Update Manager on a Oracle 10G DB. I had a issue with processes that are open on the DB by update manager. My current setting on the DB for max processes was for 40 processes max. (more than enough you might say. Nop, VUM (Vmware Update Manager) open 80 processes. Yes 80. And only 3 of them are actually working.
