SR-IOV is only supported on Cisco VIC1225 with KVM and Windows Hyper-V through VMFEX – which requires UCS FI. As for the case of ESXi, there is no support for SR-IOV. The VMFEX for ESXi is done through the vmdirectpath2 method.
