Aug 06, 2007 · We've just upgraded from Weblogic 8 (a Servlet 2.3/JSP 1.2 container) to Weblogic 9 (2.4/2.0). To avoid editing a ton of JSP pages, I want to keep our struts and other *-el tags working by simply running everything as if it were a Servlet 2.3 environment.

The burning question I am trying resolve is why does the example runs perfectly fine in Tomcat and Weblogic 10.0 and 10.3 but fails in Weblogic 9.2. Tag files are part of the JSP2.0 specification and Weblogic 9.2 implements the specification. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I noticed the other day that we finally merged the support statements from BEA for WebLogic products into the formal Oracle Life Time Support statement that is used for all Oracle products and published it on Oracle.com.

Jul 15, 2011 · Does anyone have experience running Weblogic 9.2 on JDK 1.6? I am having trouble finding that information on Oracle site. In the Supported Configurations page they just mention Sun 32/64bit JDK but I haven't found any references to specific java version.. I would like to upgrade from java 1.5 to 1.6, but we are not quite ready yet to upgrade Weblogic.
