The problem is most of those games are from the first year or so that the Wii U was out. Look at the third party lineup for 2015 and it's basically just Lego, shovelware, and small games few care about like Rodea. Very few of the major games that come to PC, XboxOne, and PS4 come to the Wii U.

Jul 02, 2016 · Normally people say the reason why Nintendo doesn't get the third party support for the Wii U was because it wasn't powerful enough. But Wii's third party support makes that argument a moot point. The Wii had way more third party support than the WiiU, which likely contributed to the consoles success in sells.
