Edit: after lots of research, I just want to be clear, XP does not support a single drive larger than 2.2TB. The only way around this is with certain manufacturers' utilities. Therefore, it sounds like you'd be right, but it won't do me any good to buy a larger disk if I'm planning to use the rest of the drive. I'd only get 2.2TB out of it.
