May 26, 2013 · This is just an idea, but you could try installing windows 98 inside a VM (virtual machine) on xp/w7 or whatever operating system you would like to use. virtualbox, vmware, etc. This will allow your computer to connect to your router, and the VM will be able to connect to the network.

Nov 26, 2010 · I have a perfectly good PC with Windows 98 sitting in a corner of the shack. I don't think it can be connected to broadband, it was originally a dial up connection. I installed wi fi into this old Compaq deskpro I'm using now but, its all old and worn out, but the Windows 98 job is still quite perky.
