Oct 21, 2009 · I tried to share files from one computer to another - thought this might be the best way to avoid the problem but the following msg came up during the transfer: Windows cannot copy file c:\windows\temp\perflib_perfdata_66c.dat then there were 3 boxes: abort, retry, ignore I tried all 3 (different times) and each stopped the transfer of data.
