Our initial testing confirms that you can run WinFax PRO in Windows XP mode, but you cannot “share” the WinFax PRO printer driver with Windows 7 applications. We successfully shared the fax modem, (and it was a software based modem) but not the fax printer.

May 06, 2011 · This is true. The printer drivers that are installed for WinFax are kernel (Type 2) drivers, and 32 bit only. This prevents the installation of these drivers on any version of Windows 7 / Vista. Sep 07, 2015 · I don't know what version of the program you're using, but according to the Windows Compatibility Center, Winfax Pro version 11 isn't compatible with Windows 10.You can try running the program in Compatibility Mode (right-click on the program's executable and select Troubleshoot Compatibility), but if that doesn't work, you'll need an updated fax program.
