Aug 10, 2019 · Without xmp your ram will clock at the max supported speed of your cpu which is typically 2133 or 2166 mhz depending on how new your cpu is. Xmp should allow for higher clocks then 2133 if you have a newer board. You can set your speeds manaully too if you have to.

Jul 30, 2019 · It's just a quick toggle for Fabric speeds and possibly voltages - I did not check voltages - but can confirm the manual fabric speeds that were adjusted. Level 1 sets your fabric (uclk) to 1600mhz to support DDR4 3200, Level 2 sets it at 1700mhz to support DDR4 3400 and Level 3 obviously is the magic 1800mhz to support DDR3600.

Dec 09, 2017 · Hi to all, When I enable the XMP profile on my DDR4 my 7700K from the default 4.2 boosting on 1-2 cores at 4.5 changed and its always 4.5 GHZ on ALL 4 cores . Is there any way to use my DDR4 Gskill RGB 4.266hz without OCing my CPU ? Dec 12, 2019 · If I tried to manually configure 3200 Mhz with the same voltage and timings without XMP enabled it wouldn't work. So maybe you could enable XMP first, then manually change the frequency to 3600 (even though XMP already sets it to 3600). I haven't got around to trying that yet.
