    Jun 09, 2012 · Here is an example of some router documentation for a Sonic Wall Appliance that supports my train of thought. I don't know how this info fits in with ibmofo's approach to enabling QoS, but it does lend some support to the idea that the device in question (in this case the ooma telo) must support 802.1p (and thus VLAN tagging) in order to implement QoS (at least one "brand" of QoS).
