SO end of Life is November 01, 2005. End-of-Sale Date is November 01, 2006. Last Shipment Date is February 01, 2007. While . End of software maintenance Releases Date and Last Date of Support is November 01, 2012. So I can wait till 2012 to upgrade to C6509-E on the chasis?

We had 3 6506-E switches which we were planning to use. But we need to buy new gig line card for deployment. If its End of life date is announced then we are planning to go for new series. I have searched the net but couldn't find any information regarding EOL 6506-E model.
