Jul 22, 2010 · Just updated my old HTPC to have 10.05, have all up and running now with aeon65s latest skin. A question is, does 10.05 still not support the BDMV structure. ie. <Movie Folder>\BDMV\index.bdmv I was surprised to see all of my blu-ray rips not appearing in the movie library with 10.05 svn version.....

This series add support for HDMV menus support on blurays. Some blurays use this format for their menu's, but sadly most use BD-J (java) based systems. This will not replace the previous default of playing longest title on the bluray if starting index.bdmv. To try to play with menu's you need to start the MovieObject.bdmv file. It also drops support for older libbluray version.

Nov 26, 2014 · That does not automatically mean it's "stolen code"; I wouldn't be surprised if JRiver Media Center also uses XBMC code for its BD menu support, and it's not listed by XBMC as a fork/derivative. That said, for now only licensed players (TMT, PDVD, WinDVD & Nero) have full BD menu support, BD-J as well as HDMV.
