Support MEC's ability is frustrating in how it functions. While your troops have a defense above 0 (the default defense) they get an extra 10. This adds 50% defense boost to someone in low cover or inside a basic smoke cloud and adds a 25% boost to someone in heavy cover or dense smoke.
