Oct 08, 2009 · the motherboard is an XFX Geforce 8300. replaced my old mobo and plugged everything in. turned it on, beeped and seemed fine. i went into BIOS to check erveything before booting OS (Windows 7). after checking all is ok, booted OS, started up fine, got to Welcome screen and PC goes off. Strange. Tunred off power for a bit, then tried again.
