When a Windows 7/etc PC has a Bluetooth version 2.1 dongle (radio/controller) attached and a version 2.1 device is to be atempts to authenticate then one of the new SSP authentication methods will be used.

Before I rewrite code I did a search on Bing and I found a great library for work with Bluetooth, IR, etc. 32feet.net. The truth is that it completes most of the scenarios for me and also allows me to focus only on the data transmission (Caution:WP8.1 has improved a lot but remains a chestnuts for bluetooth devices).

Apr 03, 2017 · There is this Bugreport for Mono which is a Sledgehammer Solution. Even if it would be merged, you cannot use it in Unity since it's running on Mono 2.X and I don't think it's easy to re-compile Mono and especially use it with Unity, especially not on other platforms.
