Jan 25, 2016 · You are mixing up the terminology.. Express and Extreme are totally different. The title is correct.. Extreme.. the text of your question replaces with Express.. they are only 10/100.. and only 2 gen of them. Any airport extreme from Gen2- Gen6. Use Gigabit ports. Do not support jumbo frames. Do not support pairing.

Feb 22, 2010 · I have a Mac Mini (Gigabit switch) wired with cat 6 to the latest Airport Extreme, through a netgear gigabit network switch (which supports jumbo frames) by cat6. I have enabled Jumbo Frames on my Mac Mini (10.5.8) and on my Windows Home Server. I have read that my AE supports Jumbo Frames but can't see a setting for it in airport utility

Jun 01, 2016 · I have an 8TB G-Raid Studio drive that I'm trying to connect to my airport extreme via a thunderbolt to ethernet connector for media storage. My network is setup as follows 2TB Time Capsule --> 8 port gigabit network switch --> Airport Express x 2 & Airport Extreme. I have a buffalo linkstation connected to the TC for my work server.
