Nov 18, 2013 · AppleScript support, of course, is not a "it supports/it doesn't support" dichotomy. It's a question of degree of support, how robust Numbers 3 "suite" in the AppleScript dictionary will be. Numbers 2.3 doesn't have extensive support, but it covers the basics. I hope that will be the case for Numbers 3 as well.

May 27, 2014 · I'm afraid you'd need to examine the file system to find out the raw connection IDs: they're not available through AppleScript. That said, for things like YubiKey we recommend using Viscosity and OpenVPN's static challenge support which is built especially for one time passwords (instead of using the Username/Password dialog).

Nov 26, 2016 · In a build of my program in Version 2016 Release 3 I have discovered a problem where an AppleScript fails to execute. I deleted the AppleScript from the project and attempted to re-add it. This caused Xojo to crash. Does this version of Xojo support the use of AppleScripts?

I can't hold out high hopes: adding more AppleScript support has been on in the bug tracking system for 17+ years and doesn't seem to have any momentum. Probably your best bet for now is to find hacks other people have posted rather than waiting for a more complete API on Firefox's side.
