Jun 10, 2012 · soraka can be good with a mana hungry bot and even better a bot with an escape, since she can't save him if he's traped. sona can be nivce with a burst champ such as graves and in my opinion needs to be more agressiv, she won't be able to sustain her carry as well as soraka but she can deal more damage in a short time

I find quite a lot of problems when using Soraka, it also starts to be boring. Therefore, I have started to use Sona with the tear build, but I am also aware that Nami is probably the support in god tier, with better winrate against all the others. Yet, if you already have access to Sona, I see no reason to pick Soraka in this meta. Sona just fulfills the role of a traditional, dedicated healer much better than Soraka.

Soraka is the better support, mainly because she can pretty much ensure that nobody dies. The sheer amount of healing she does is incredible, and with her mana and silences, she's full support. Sona is great, but she doesn't have the range of soraka, and is more offensive.

Nov 24, 2012 · Crowd control. There is nothing that Nidalee does, that a different support doesn't do better. She can't protect her carry, her damage is not the greatest (sona does way more damage than her early game) and she brings absolutely nothing to a teamfight. Just because a champion has a heal doesn't mean they are a support.
