In physics, the twin paradox is a thought experiment in special relativity involving identical twins, one of whom makes a journey into space in a high-speed rocket and returns home to find that the twin who remained on Earth has aged more. This result appears puzzling because each twin sees the other twin as moving, and so, according to an incorrect and naive application of time dilation and ...

By doing so, he would be the father of his own dizygotic twin by fathering his own ‘self-twin’ and could be classed as generating the new class of autofraternal superfecundation, and by doing so creating a ‘twin-father’ temporal paradox. This scenario represents a new twin paradox based on reproductive biology; the father of the twin is ...Author: Hutan Ashrafian

It is about time dilation, which plays an essential role in the twin paradox, just like the sentence form the article does, that you have quoted in your message above. The referenced ...

Einstein was the first to discuss and resolve the 'twin paradox', which in 1905 he did not consider paradoxical and treated as a consequence of lack of simultaneity.

Mar 05, 2010 · I can't word it like the video shows it, but it helped to open my eyes a bit. It's hard to accept that one twin will ACTUALLY AGE LESS than the other, biologically included. I still have a tough time with that. Because to him his biological clock is normal, but to the other HIS clock is normal. There can't be two normals only one.
