    Nov 14, 2019 · This is answered on the BootMii website - boot2 occurs before most of the hardware initialization, meaning Wiimotes cannot and will not work during Bootmii. There is nothing they can do to fix that at this time. I would set your BootMii to autoboot to System Menu, or remove the Bootmii SD card when you don't want to use BootMii.

    Well, bootmii will only load the bootmii application off of the sd card, not other homebrew applications. so if you have no sd card in your wii during boot, or deleted the bootmii folder from root of sd, it will boot just like it always did. however this does depend on how you installed bootmii, the above stated is true if installed as boot2 ...

    I installed BootMii/boot2, but it doesn't come up when I boot my Wii. Try booting with no SD card inserted. If you see a brief set of flashes from the blue slot LED right after you hit the power button, try a different SD card. Make sure you have a directory named "bootmii" with the "armboot.bin" and "ppcboot.elf" files inside.
