Jul 11, 2013 · You CAN use an Xbox controller! RC just doesn't have NATIVE support for joysticks but that's no hindrance at all! All controls can be mapped to an Xbox pad perfectly fine via Pinnacle, Xpadder or GlovePIE. Both are very cheap apps that emulate a mouse/keyboard on basically any controller from joysticks to pads.

Mar 08, 2015 · I made the same Star Wars: Republic Commando configuration for the Steam Controller as it was on my Xpadder profile. Another perk of the Steam Controller is that the right touchpad enables full 360-degree rotation as opposed to the linear and diagonal-only movement of the joystick through Xpadder.

Here is a profile for the Lucasarts game, Star Wars- Republic Commando. All the commands are in the profile, as is a "shifted" and "Unshifted" linking command set. This allows the exact controller config from the Xbox Controller S, with the digital pad being both the squad commands and the regular commands, just like in the Xbox version.
