Jun 21, 2016 · I have used a wired Xbox 360 controller and a DS4 for PC. The 360 controller maps fine, but you will need another piece of software for the Sony controller as it does not have Windows drivers. I used InputMapper to set up my dualshock 4 like it is on PS4.

Mar 20, 2012 · I honestly can care less, im playing the campaign and sitting back, and just want to enjoy the game. Im getting sick of devs not putting support in games. 95% of games out for PC have controller support in, why not just make the support work. Same deal with Mass Effect, ended up buying it on 360 because of no controller support.

Nov 04, 2013 · Make sure the Xbox 360 controller is plugged in and connected to the PC before starting Battlefield 4 (or any Frostbite game for that matter). It seems to disable controller support if you launch the game without a controller plugged in.

Nov 12, 2011 · At that point, it's up to the developers to include controller support in their game. EA included support for the 360 controller, so you should be able to play right away. I've tested mine, and it works. Just don't tell anyone on PC that you're using a controller. PC folks have an ego about the mouse for some reason.

I have some friends that use the Xbox 360 wired control to play Battlefield 3 but their bindings were automatically set in-game. They just had to go in and adjust some of the bindings. Personally I use a PS3 control with the MotioninJoy driver to emulate an Xbox 360 control.

Feb 18, 2017 · It plays flawlessly once you've spawned but controller support outside of gameplay (menus, etc) is either missing or broken. I've only been able to get an Xbox 360 controller to work which it picked up without a hitch but there's an option in the settings for a DualShock 4 but from what I can tell, it just changes the button prompts.
