Mar 22, 2010 · Perhaps it's dual core cpu which cant give both gpu's enough stuff to draw. Also 2 gpu's increase driver load a bit so minimum fps drops if it's because of cpu not being fast enough. Crysis supports quad core cpu's so that might help.

Feb 03, 2014 · Mass Effect as well. From memory some games using 4 threads or more are; Battlefield 3/4 - can execute up to 8 threads but no more than 8. Crysis Warhead, Crysis 3, FarCry3 and MetroLL all run 4-6. Btw GTA IV uses one core like the guy above said.....and quadcore support in 2007 is just wishful thinking,...

May 21, 2009 · No sorry the Dell Optiplex 780 can't support a i7, it would have to be a 1155, 1156, 1366 socket compatible motherboard, but your options would be a Intel Core 2 Quad like a Q6700, upwards.

Feb 12, 2008 · Crysis only uses 2 cores, whether its a core 2 duo or a quad core. No point to get a quad core just for Crysis. Also only 1 or 2 games use all 4 cores of a quad core, one of them being Lost Planet.
