Jun 16, 2009 · The Intel 2200bg definitely supports WPA2. I have one running WPA2 in a T42 running both Win XP and Win 7. As fmyhr says you need to be sure you're running a version of Win XP which supports WPA2.

Oct 05, 2005 · Hp is telling me that the overall hardware in the laptop does not support WPA key but WEP only even thought I have the latest drivers from intel and the latest hot fixes from Mircosoft SP 2. My thinking was the encryption is based on the type of wireless card you have! I have all updated firmware for my wrt54g router linksys.
