Some makes just really are shit and the PS2 has trouble reading them full stop. Try burning the image on a Ritek Ridisc or similar (they cost about 1 each) and see if that works.

    Oct 11, 2017 · You can't do that with DVD-R it is not a suitable type of disc. You have to use the second option (with a CD/DVD player, mastered) assuming the Windows 10 way. DVD-RW, DVD+RW, CD-RW can use the first option, Like a USB flash drive(Live File System). These discs are rewritable. MS as usual uses it own terms which is confusing, and a useless link.
