Mar 07, 2008 · VMPlayer and USB 2.0 support. I initially installed VMServer (not sure what version) on an Ubuntu 7.10 (64-bit) host and created a XP Pro guest VM. etc, I discovered VMServer does not support USB 2.0. installed VMPlayer 2.0 (which according to VMWare supports USB 2.0).
