    Apr 13, 2013 · I am the author of the tutorial you are referring to. Unfortunately this will not work on eSata because VMware Player does not support eSata. That's why eSata is not mentioned in the tutorial. BHut I just now made a Note in the tutorial to make that clear. You could investigate whether Virtual Box would work, but I have not tried that.
