    Dec 26, 2016 · You can disable all hardware acceleration settings but keep in mind that 1080 sources are very demanding and the FireStick is not a very powerful device. Even my Windows PC has issues at time playing back 1080 streams over wifi. It fairs much better when I hard wire it. The stick however cannot be hardwired so WiFi will have some issues for sure.
