Select the Run As Administrator Option and also Run in Compatibility mode --- and select the correct Windows Platform it should be ran in - XP or Vista, etc. Let the installer install the program.

Last week I finally got tired of my new computer's sucktastic on-boar sound card so I bought myself an old Sound Blaster Audigy SE for $29.

Oct 07, 2010 · Correct, Vista and 7 do not support hardware accelerated sound. If you want support for EAX 1 or 2, just download OpenAL, a very small driver that will enable EAX 1/2 support.

If so, what hardware/software is required?
