Oct 04, 2011 · Since Hyper-V is designed to run in a server environment, where Vms may move from host to host per failover or rebalencing etc, it doesn't make a lot of sense to have a usb key that has to bounce around from host to host as the vm moves, making a lot of work for the administrator.
