Feb 19, 2008 · I have a Q6600 by Intel and i've tried a "tweak" in the FSX.cfg to use all 4 cores, but I don't believe it makes a difference because I have Vista and the monitor on my cores o the sidebar still shows 1 core being used at most times. Is there a way to use all cores?:confused:

Aug 18, 2006 · babua,I don't think it's a matter of making the FS series multi-threaded as much as making it multicore. According to the article linked below its more about changing the architecture of game engines to be multi-core or multi cpu aware and make aggressive use of those cores buy logically separating the major components of a game engine and dedicating each of them to one core.

Apr 03, 2015 · Hi, I have an Intel Quad Core i7-3537U 2.7GHz CPU. I run FSX at about 40FPS in small airports, but I have problem running this game in airports like Frankfurt or London Heathrow, there it runs at about 10 fps. I opened task manager and showed that only 38%-42% of the CPU are used. I'm sure it would run much faster if it could use more of my CPU.
