Aug 16, 2003 · as far as i am concerned, mplayer just rockz. its good ol' times all time classic command-line all-purpose media player. i used xine a lot, but having mplayer, which plays trailer quicktimes on a 700mhz laptop without delaying or framedropping (my windoze desktop dual 900 drops frames with 512megs of ram... silly windoze =) ), i like mplayer much more than xine.
