Aug 09, 2010 · 0x8000CCC7D Your outgoing (SMTP) server does not support SSL-secured connections. I've tried ports 465, 587 and 25 as well as changing smtp server to smtp.googlemail.com but it didn't help. A solution would be much appreciated for this seemingly common problem.

Jul 26, 2011 · Make sure the Outgoing Mail Server is smtp.gmail.com. Click More Settings. Click Outgoing Server Tab. Make sure "My Outgoing Server Requires Authentication" is checked. Click the advanced tab. Make sure the Outgoing Server is 465 and "This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)" is checked. Click OK and Next to finish.
