Mar 27, 2014 · It rises from 9′ at the exterior wall up to 12′ and spans about 13′.Can you recommend a header size for this 6 opening? I was thinking to 2x10s (or 2x8s ?) resting on one jack stud on either side, but not sure if it is enough (or code in CT).
