Oct 28, 2019 · I'm trying to resurrect an HR10-250 just for OTA watching with a buffer. (i know no guide data or recording) I went into setup and chose 'antenna only' but it won't tune in any stations. I tested OTA signal strength and channels do register in the test meter.. In system info it says account closed. Does that render the box useless?

Mar 01, 2006 · So my first thought (and that of DTV tech support) was to repace the HR10 unit. I went back to Bestbuy and swapped it for another unit. The second unit exhibits the same exact symptoms! The other HD set-top box (a Hughes) will show good signal strength on all sats/transponders all times it's tested. thoughts/suggestions?
