    KMyMoney on Windows uses an embedded copy of GPG to support file encryption. To create a new gpg key pair open a command shell in the bin directory of the kmymoney installation and run: gpg2 --gen-key.     KMyMoney has built-in support for all foreign currency types. KMyMoney also requires that the user specify a base currency, this being the default currency for new accounts. The importer will attempt to determine the most likely base currency, though this choice may be rejected in favor of an alternative.
