Lux (used to not be) the best support in the game. That being said, she has a few advantages that makes her a viable pick (especially in Low Elo, and recently in high elo as well) and, more importantly, is a blast to play! Lux can contribute to teamfights without putting herself in significant danger.

Feb 09, 2013 · It's viable, but if you want to be a good Lux support, you need an ADC that does something useful when you hit a binding. Lux becomes strong with an ADC that fires a skillshot after you hit a binding on someone for some strong harass. At low elo, you don't see such ADCs a lot, so other supports would be better.

Feb 17, 2012 · Problem with Lux support is that she either snowballs really hard or she has to back off A LOT because of the sustain or zoning potential others provide like Soraka and Alistar. She's in my opinion not viable there while taking 0 CS.

Playing Lux as support can work, sure, but it's so suboptimal that you are willfullingly hurting your team by picking her (in that role). Heck, Annie can support better than Lux can. So, yes you can play Lux as a support and can get away with it. But no, it's not a good pick.

This is a support guide and I my recommended is utility based, making aery a better option, but this is still a VERY viable option for support if you are a poke lane, or especially very good if you're going full AP/more AP based! ... You normally max this last as Lux support since you want to max the shield, but max this second for more damage

Dec 26, 2012 · Lux is only good as mid. Never play her as support either. It is a horrible idea> Lux has sheild > play her as support > genious. This is a no go. She has the passive and a long range laser, not using them properly is just plain stupid. As for your game: I once played a jungle Lux, and we won. Still I would never say that jungle Lux is good.

Mar 24, 2013 · well you can adc with everything you build adc eq on melee adc for everything is bullsh it except realy melee adcs likefiora master etc, ranged adc is more viable but would you prefer a light binding, reveal and slow and useless shield coz of no AP and useless ult before attack speed steroid + ad scalling spells before that? i dont think so
