Jul 13, 2012 · A double check confirms the following: lwIP is the network protocol stack, while the "ping" command is an application that uses the stack. The lwIP stack supports ICMP - on which ping is based - but does not include a ping implementation internally (just as it does not include a web server, etc - the aim is to keep the stack 'lightweight').

Feb 02, 2012 · We are facing problems with LwIP stack available for Sitara AM1808 in Starterware (migrated from Stellaris). The webserver isn't running in demo application or separate project with static IP address. We don't have a DHCP server, so we couldn't test it on DHCP. IDE is CCS version 5.1
