Apr 27, 2017 · I have a NVMe SSD drive with a 7.2k drive in a Dell machine and when I deploy the OS through MDT is defaults to the 7.2k drive which must be the first drive in the system bios. If I unplug the 7.2k drive in MDT it will install to the SSD no problem. Is there a way to change the drive target in MDT?

Why not use network deployment or even better for this scenario, create offline media, and run a deployment from USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 stick?
