The Prime games are definitely worth it, the original Metroid Prime is probably my favorite of the series. Personally, I think the Wii controls are much better than the Gamecube controller still great games no matter what kind of control.

i looked in the manual forthe trilogy after i bought it. It specifically says that gamecube controls are not supported at all. Here is a scan of the back of the metroid prime trilogy box.

Feb 03, 2015 · Last I remember, Metroid Prime was a Gamecube game to start with, and worked on Controller Technology. There is no reason why they couldn't have included controller support.

The Wii Classic Controller, Wii Classic Controller Pro, and the Wii U Pro Controller are all different things, and none of them work with the Metroid Prime Trilogy. The 2 Wii controllers work with some Wii games, but the Wii U Pro Controller only works on Wii U games as far as I can recall.
