Oct 23, 2009 · Nikon have approved the use of Lexar Professional and Sandisk UDMA compatible cards. Nikon D-SLR cameras that use Compact Flash cards and were released after and including the D3 and D300 all fully support the UDMA standard. Use of these cards will increase the speed of writing information significantly over the use of previous non UDMA cards.

Jan 16, 2012 · I checked with nikon website by following your link. D300 version 1.10 does not support memory change and my camera is on the lastest firmware . That is, everything in the D3 family, D700, and the D300 family are UDMA compatible. <P> When I tested the D300 two years ago, I shot a sequence of 12-bit RAW files and time the camera when it wrote those files onto the CF cards.
