But, when I try to do the same with Racoon, when I enable NAT traversal wit= h racoon using Preshared keys, it says NAT-T support not compiled in. NAT-T and pfSense Netgate Forum

    https://forum.netgate.com/topic/21198/nat-t-and-pfsense
NAT-T isn't compiled in at all, it'll be refused if proposed or attempted, there is nothing "partial" about the support (see snippet posted by Vorkbaard above). Even with that device behind NAT you probably don't actually need NAT-T, though that depends on what kind of NAT device it's behind, and possibly a number of other things on their end.

I am not sure if there are any specific issues with your current running version 8.0(4), but please be aware that 8.3 onwards the NAT rules configuration is "object oriented" rather than the usual "inside" and global (nat) commands that everybody is familiar with.

Feb 16, 2015 · The NAT-T explanation in particular it solved my issue. I wasn't sure why it wasn't enough to have ipsec nat-traversal enabled on the client side router as I thought the VPN client would detect this NAT in path, that was up until I read you mentioning it needing to be enable on the VPN headend device in order for it to be offered to the VPN client.
