    Apr 30, 2012 · Parallels Desktop supports USB routing to the Virtual Machines, what I'm asking is the same but for Firewire, specifically for external drives, since I use external Firewire drives (Firewire 800) and I have to switch to USB (if they support USB also) to use inside the VM, if PDM supports Firewire than it would work much more smoothly.

    Oct 13, 2016 · Why is Windows 10 no longer supporting Apples Thunderbolt to Firewire Adapter as a IEEE1394 device ... So I contacted support again and after 4 hours they told me Windows is no longer going to support the Firewire adapter because it is obsolete. Apple still sells the Thunderbolt Firewire adapter and is supported on Mac, so it is not obsolete.
